Valley Village, California – A Great Place to Live and Invest in Real Estate

Valley Village, A Great Place to Live and Invest in Real Estate

History of Valley Village

Valley Village is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles, located within the San Fernando Valley. Valley Village lies north of Studio City, east of Sherman Oaks, and south and west of North Hollywood.

The history of Valley Village went back to the 1930s, in which a group of residents laid out a plan to start a community beautification in June 1939. The plan features parkways, cycling paths, a series of small parks, recreation centers and other amenities.

The Valley Village Homeowner Association was born in 1986. It all started when residents began to address the threat of high rise buildings and their neighborhood being overcrowded with businesses. The purpose for this is for the community to have a better way of living and be separated from the noise of large corporations. In 1990’s the Valley Village request to be recognized as its own community was approved by the Los Angeles City Council.

Now, Valley Village is considered one of the best places to live in California. Living in Valley Village offers residents the comfort of a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and the benefits of living in a city in a more affordable manner. It is central to everything with many restaurants, shops, parks and great schools nearby. That makes it a perfect place to invest in Real Estate.
