History of Studio City
Studio City is a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California and one of the largest cities in the United States by population of approximately 41, 800 residents. Originally known as Laurelwood, Studio City’s name was derived from the studio that was built around the area by film producer Mack Sennett. That studio is now known as CBS Studio Center.

A non-profit farmers market jointly owned by the Studio City Residents Association and the Studio City Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Studio City Farmers Market was created to provide access to locally grown produce and locally produced artisan foods and crafts. The Market’s vendors offer everything from grass fed beef and fresh seafood to artisan breads, olive oils, honey, prepared foods and of course, lots of fruits and vegetables. Come for breakfast and leave with lunch, dinner, and a whole lot more.
